It’s important to contact us where possible four weeks in advance of your move, so that if you decide to choose Rumsey & Son, we can give you the full attention you deserve.

Pre-move survey

Our Representative will visit your home to assess your requirements by finding out:

- Where you are moving from and to
- The level of service you require, ie:
- everything packed and transported
- some items packed and transported
- removal and transportation only
- If you are doing the packing yourself, do you require boxes?
- Do you have any items that require specialist packing?
- The easiest means of access to your house
- Is storage required for a time?

Our Representative will be delighted to talk you through the various options, answer your questions and provide professional advice on the most efficient way of handling your move.

Following the pre-move survey, a cost estimate tailored to your requirements will be sent to you without delay by email, fax or post. If you have any queries following receipt of this quote, or if you would like us to proceed, please contact us as soon as you can.
